The combined use of rubber joints and protective covers

Rubber joint underground protective covers, also known as underground protection devices for rubber joints, are primarily used in conjunction with flexible rubber joints. They effectively shield rubber joints from damage caused by external forces and extend their service life, representing a novel product for underground installation of rubber joints.

 

Consequently, the decision to employ underground protective covers for rubber joints is determined by the specific characteristics of the pipeline medium and the underground installation requirements of the rubber joints themselves.

 

 

Our company's rubber joint protective covers leave ample space around the perimeter, ensuring they maintain their proper movement while isolating them from the external fill. They also allow the pipe to slide freely around the ends of the system without any resistance. After pipeline installation, backfill and compaction ensure the ground remains flat, ensuring no disruption to vehicles, heavy objects, or equipment installation.

 

This product consists of two semicircular hollow chambers, housing the rubber joint and pipe flat-weld flange. Vertical supports at both ends are designed based on the soil depth, ensuring they can withstand external pressure and loads.

Due to the special material and use of rubber joints, the use of these protective covers is essential. When using them, please note the following:
1. Adequate size: one size larger than the rubber joint.
2. Thickness: Thickness varies depending on the customer's burial depth.
3. Before use, inspect the anti-corrosion treatment to ensure the outer layer is epoxy-resin-coated.
4. The service life of the rubber joint protective cover is 10-15 years.
